Parrots need nutritious food,good quality pellets, hard
nuts are not optional (for beak health), grains, seeds,
beans, veggies, leafy greens, fruit and healthy treats.

Parrots need fresh drinking water at all times. Parrots need
clean water for bathing. Bathday is Thursday or Friday at 10:00
AM. Caregivers need water to wash bowels, cages, toys,
accessories, travel carriers, play stands, floors and bird rooms.

MEDICAL
|
Each Parrot needs a yearly medical check up. Occasionally, we
have medical emergencies and need to travel to our Avian
Vet. A Medical Emergency Kit is necessary as well as Travel
Carriers and funds for gas and Vet bills. Our closet Avian Vet
is 60 miles away in Marathon, FL (120 miles round trip)

Parrots need protection from heat, cold, rain, wind and
dangerous predators like raccoons, opposums, ferrets,
